چکیده

Using a lattice equation of state combined with the D-dimensional Tolman–Oppenheimer–Volkoff and Friedmann equations, we investigate possibility formation compact objects as well time evolution scale factor density profile self-gravitating material cluster. The numerical results show that in ([Formula: see text])-dimensional space–time, mass is independent central pressure. Hence, only finite constant similar to white dwarf possible. However, self-gravity leads large gap corresponding phase diagram has same structure one for Neutron Star. also beyond certain critical pressure, star unstable against gravitational collapse, it may end black hole. Analysis space–times higher dimensions shows gravity stronger effect [Formula: text] dimensions. Numerical solutions equations curvature space–time increases increasing temperature, but decreases dimensionality text].

Spherical gravitating condensers in general relativity

By a spherical gravitating condenser we mean two concentric charged shells made of perfect fluids restricted by the condition that the electric field is nonvanishing only between the shells. Flat space is assumed inside the inner shell. By using Israel’s formalism we first analyze the general system of N shells and then concentrate on the two-shell condensers. Energy conditions are taken into a...

Symmetry breaking in d-dimensional self-gravitating systems.

Systems with long-range interactions, such as self-gravitating clusters and magnetically confined plasmas, do not relax to the usual Boltzmann-Gibbs thermodynamic equilibrium, but become trapped in quasistationary states (QSS) the lifetime of which diverges with the number of particles. The QSS are characterized by the lack of ergodicity which can result in a symmetry broken QSS starting from a...

A lattice worldsheet sum for 4-d Euclidean general relativity

A lattice model for four dimensional Euclidean quantum general relativity is proposed for a simplicial spacetime. It is shown how this model can be expressed in terms of a sum over worldsheets of spin networks in the lattice, and an interpretation of these worldsheets as spacetime geometries is given, based on the geometry defined by spin networks in canonical loop quantized GR. The spacetime g...

The self-gravitating Fermi gas

We discuss the nature of phase transitions in the self-gravitating Fermi gas at non-zero temperature. This study can be relevant for massive neutrinos in Dark Matter models and for collisionless self-gravitating systems experiencing a “violent relaxation”. Below a critical energy (in the microcanonical ensemble) or below a critical temperature (in the canonical ensemble), the system undergoes a...

Self-similarity in General Relativity

The different kinds of self-similarity in general relativity are discussed, with special emphasis on similarity of the " first " kind, corresponding to spacetimes admitting a ho-mothetic vector. We then survey the various classes of self-similar solutions to Einstein's field equations and the different mathematical approaches used in studying them. We focus mainly on spatially homogenous and sp...
